PRODUCT WARRANTIES

BoatFix, Inc. has diligently researched the sources of its merchandise and represents only items of the highest quality. HOWEVER - - BoatFix, Inc. makes no warranty, expressed or implied, over and above that of the manufacturers of the products purchased. All product is covered by the producer of the item purchased and any claims should be directed appropriately. Copies of these warranties are available upon request.

PURCHASER FURTHER AGREES that his exclusive remedy against BoatFix, Inc. for misrepresentations or breach of contract or warranty shall be and is limited to the right to terms defined by the product producers as defined heretofore, and purchaser expressly waives ALL other remedies of RESCISSION, REJECTION of non-conforming goods, and any claim asserting total or partial breach of contract of sale or service and any claim for consequential DAMAGES as a result of this written limited warranty - including any implied warranties.

DAMAGE/LOSS/SHORTAGE

Product packaging is done with care to insure that your order is received in good condition. For shipment via U.P.S., U.S.P.S., or common carrier, please note the discrepancy, damage, etc., on freight bill and immediately file the proper claim with the delivering carrier. Damage and shortage of packages is the responsibility of the delivering carrier.

ORDERS

Orders placed on this site do not become binding until the pricing has been reviewed and payment has been processed and authorized. Because of the nature of the internet and its security, we can not and will not be responsible for typographical errors in the database or in the text itself. If there is a pricing error, BoatFix will notify you as quickly as possible and you will have the option of canceling the order and returning the product at our expense, if shipped, or accepting the new pricing. Some orders can not be cancelled once processed, including orders for special products, software, non-inventory items, items in transit to us from the Manufacturer or for any other reason at the discretion of BoatFix, Inc. ALL requests for cancellation must be made through our Help Desk - email is unreliable. A request for cancellation may or may not be approved. Credits for cancellations may take 15 to 45 days to process and, in some rare cases, a cancellation fee may be charged. All pricing on this site is in US Dollars and does NOT include shipping, duties, taxes or other charges levied on international orders. Shipping for special orders will include shipping to our warehouse and as well as shipping to you. All orders where payment is a check will be delayed until the check is received and has cleared. A $35 returned check charge will be applied when a check is returned or fails to clear.

PRIVACY

BoatFix, Inc. collects no personally identifying information about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals. In addition, BoatFix, Inc. may place a "cookie" in the browser files of a user's computer. The cookie itself does not contain any personally identifying information although it will enable the site to relate a user's use of the site to information that the user has specifically and knowingly provided to BoatFix, Inc.. BoatFix, Inc. will NOT use such information for marketing and promotional purposes and WILL NOT share, sell or otherwise distribute this information to third parties.

Return Goods Policy

OUR ERROR

Goods that are shipped to you incorrectly through an error on our part, namely an incorrect part number or a packaging mistake, will be accepted for return at no charge and any return shipping charges you may incur will be credited to your account. Simply visit our help desk and request a Return Material Authorization Number. We will, immediately upon notification, reship the correct material.

YOUR REQUEST TO RETURN

We are available every business day via both phone and email to discuss any questions you may have regarding our products and to help ensure that you receive the correct part. However, if you order material that is then shipped to you and received by you, the material is then subject to a restocking and handling charge as determined by the manufacturer and BoatFix, typically 10-25%. Shipping costs will not be credited. In the case of special orders, some material may not be returnable, subject to manufacturer's policies. In all cases, the material to be returned must be returned with all of its original packaging, insured for the value of the product and in "as new" condition, shipped in a separate box via UPS or USPS priority with tracking numbers, prepaid. All requests for product return must be made via our help desk and all such requests must be received by us within 10 days of your date of receipt. Any return requests for material beyond that date may or may not be granted at the discretion of BoatFix, Inc. and/or the Manufacturer. In all such cases, store credit will be issued. Material received without a Return Material Authorization number will not be accepted and credit will not be processed. You are encouraged to call or write to us to ensure that the product you are purchasing is the correct one for your application. Software, Videos, Guns, Apparel and products that are software based or are considered Consumer Electronics, like DVD players and Two-Way radios, as well as remanufactured and close-out products, are not returnable - unless the product is defective. Returns will NOT be credited until the product has been received in the warehouse as directed by us, inspected to ensure compliance with our return policies ("as new," all packaging, etc.) and approval to issue credit has been received by our main office. This process can take 30 to 60 days.

DAMAGE/LOSS/SHORTAGE

SOFTWARE AND CONSUMER PRODUCTS

Software and consumer products, like tents, towables, etc. are only returnable only if defective when first opened. Once used, they are no longer returnable but are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Defective items may be returned for replacement only. Chart Cartridges, DVDs, VHS tapes, etc. are considered software because they can be copied.
